2009 was important year for Brooksdean Conservatives.
The economic downturn will affect many people in the community. The governments cuts in VAT are proved to be expensive for us but ineffecitve in boosting the economy. Already we have seen the demise of Woolworth from the High Street in Cinderford.

European Parliament
You took the opportunity to ensure we have a good Conservative result to being the changes we need for uour community.
Most political commentators are speculating that Gordon Brown will now wait until spring 2010 to go for a general electionl.
You can help in several ways
- Make sure your membership of the Conservative Party is up to date. If it has lapsed you can rejoin easily by contacting us. New memebrs can join for as little as £25 per year.
- If you can deliver a few leaflets on a regualr basis this will help us win the elections that are coming up. I hour walking around a few local streets makes a big contribution.
- Let us know what is important to you locally so we can make sure the views of local conservatives are heard in the District Council,County Council, Parliament and Europe.
